Das Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge (IFSW) der Universität Stuttgart gehört zu den weltweit führenden Forschungseinrichtungen auf dem Gebiet der Lasertechnik. IPK Gatersleben is a large, internationally recognized centre of plant research addressing problems of modern biology with an emphasis on crop plants.
