Postdoctoral Position
in ”Philosophy of Mind”
Full time, public service salary level E 13 TV-L HU, available until 31 October 2017.
The Institute of Philosophy and the Berlin School of Mind and Brain at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin invite applications for a postdoc position to start as soon as possible.
Area of specialization: Philosophy of Mind or Philosophy and Neuroscience
Area of competence: Philosophy of Science, Neuroscience and/or Psychology. A focus on one of the school´s research topics − ‘perception, attention, consciousness’, ‘decision-making’, ‘language’, ‘social cognition’ − is desirable.
The successful candidate is expected to pursue a project at the interface between philosophy and neuroscience. He or she will be a member of the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and of the Institute of Philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. He or she will be expected to teach at Master and doctoral level (four courses per year) and participate in the school´s activities (see also: www.mind-and-brain.de).
