随着去年广州市人才工作局成立，广州市的人才工作也随之迈入了新的阶段。据了解，作为国内首个地方人才工作局，该局对理顺关系、整合资源、破除条块分割、形成人才工作合力进行了积极探索创新，在全国地方党委组织部门中具有首创示范意义。与广州市人才工作局同时诞生的还有广州全新的网络人才工作宣传平台，即"人才广州"政务微博。如今，该局的另一个重要网络资讯及服务平台"广州人才工作网"也在紧张筹备当中，据悉，最快将于5月23日正式上线运营。
据相关负责人介绍，"广州人才工作网"是由广州市人才工作局主办的网络信息传播平台，旨在对外展示广州创新创业的政策环境、传播"广纳天下英才"的人才理念，打造面向高层次人才、创新创业团队、人才工作者的全天候服务窗口以及招商引智的资讯平台。网站在保持信息权威性的同时，充分发挥互联网特性，增强新引力、可读性、亲和力，力求打造成为广州人才工作的新闻传播中心和前沿阵地。
