Postdoctoral Scientist - Integrated Land System Research

The University of Hohenheim has a strong record in interdisciplinary land system research and modeling, spanning from biophysical processes in the soil-crop system to land surface - atmosphere interactions to interdependent economic decision-making of land users within changing policy settings. Our integrated modeling approach involves massively parallel computing, which allows for considering important feedbacks in the land system that are usually neglected (see klimawandel.uni-hohenheim.de).

To expand our integrated research in this field, we are searching a postdoctoral scientist who would be thrilled to develop research strategies and contribute to setting up a large research initiative in integrated land system research. Applicants are expected to hold a doctoral degree in Sciences, Agricultural Sciences or Economics. They should have a proven record in interdisciplinary research and a very good command of the English language.

The successful candidate will become a member of our international research team. Full Time or Part Time is negotiable. Appointments will be for up to 2 years.
