We are a research institute of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science. The Munich Center for Economics of Aging (MEA) at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy studies evaluates, anticipates and follows the micro- and macro-eco­nomic aspects of demographic change. For our research unit "Health Econometrics", we are looking for an
Economist or statistician as a
(post-)doctoral researcher
with good knowledge of health economics and econometrics.
The place of employment is Munich. The initial employment contract will be for two years. An extension by additional four years is intended.
The unit conducts research in economics with a focus on health economics and econo-metrics. The successful candidate will work in this area. S/he will present his/her papers at academic conferences and publish in leading international journals. There will be no teaching load. The po­si­tion provides an ideal starting point for an academic career.
Your Profile

Diplom, Master or Ph.D. in economics or statistics,
profound knowledge in econometrics.
