Ph.D. and postdoctoral positions
in condensed matter physics (experiment / theory), material science and engineering with a focus on magnetism and spin phenomena.
The research topics range from the fundamental investigation of spins in molecules and solids to the development of complex spintronics device structures and magnetic sensors. Ph.D. students will furthermore benefit from the Spin+X Young Researcher College that combines structured graduate education with team supervision and a tailored training program.
Spin+X combines physics, chemistry, and mechanical and process engineering into a unique platform dedicated to advanced spin engineering. We explore new frontiers of collective spin effects through cross-disciplinary collaborations and cutting-edge experimental and theoretical methods.
