Was Sie erwartet
Als Post Doc Bio-Statistics unterstützen Sie unsere Einheit Experimentelle Toxikologie & Ökologie im Rahmen eines interdisziplinären Projektes. Dabei übernehmen Sie die statistische Auswertung von Daten aus in-vitro-Studien sowie von Metabolomics-Daten. So erhalten Sie Einblicke in die praktischen Heraus­forderungen der Auswertung und Modellierung komplexer biologischer Daten. Auf dieser Grundlage erstellen Sie eigene Modelle und erlernen Methoden zur Vor­her­sage und Bewertung toxischer Effekte. Bei Ihrer Weiterentwicklung unterstützt Sie unser Team durch strukturiertes Feedback und intensives Mentoring.

Was wir erwarten
Sie haben Ihr Studium im Fach Biostatistik oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengan­ges erfolgreich mit einer Promotion abgeschlossen und konnten bereits erste Er­fah­rungen mit komplexen Analysen biologischer Daten sammeln. Des Weiteren besitzen Sie vertiefte Kenntnisse bezüglich biologischer Prozesse sowie pharma­ko­logisch-toxikologischer Effekte. Neben der Fähigkeit, statistische Sachverhalte verständlich darzustellen und zu kommunizieren, verfügen Sie idealerweise über Programmiererfahrung sowie Kenntnisse in R und SQL. Freude an kreativen Problemlösungen, Zielorientierung und die Fähigkeit eigenständig als auch in einem Team zu arbeiten runden Ihr Profil ab.
