Aalto University School of Science (Helsinki, Finland) invites applications for
Postdoctoral Researcher in Machine Learning for Big Data.

Responsibilities of the postdoctoral researcher will include the development and implementation of distributed learning algorithms for dictionary learning and graphical model selection for massive datasets. Another main task will be the study of fundamental limits for distributed learning under resource constraints such as computational- and communication complexity. These constraints are typically encountered in distributed decentralized networks (e.g., wireless sensor networks).
